Our School

Holy Cross Catholic School believes that every child can become a successful learner. We believe it is our obligation as Catholic educators to provide this service for our children on an individual basis. As educators and members of the Holy Cross community we believe in preparing our students for the future, spreading Gospel values they have learned and applying them to their everyday lives. The foundation each student receives at Holy Cross will enable our students to meet the Catholic Graduate Expectations as they complete their journey at St. Michael’s High School and beyond.

Holy Cross has been recognized by the Literacy/Numeracy Secretariat as a “School on the Move”, for our consistent growth in student achievement. Through the use of consistent messaging, modeling and positive reinforcement, students are moved forward one student at a time. Staff collaboration is ongoing throughout the school year where the analysis of student achievement data and target setting for literacy and numeracy goals takes place.
